Module is well done. I recently learned of a new term: “Relationship Centered Communication.” It struck me that this is the crux of the care. Not just paternalistic (or maternalistic) medicine, nor just patient- or family-centered approach. It’s about the RELATIONSHIP between these parties.
What do you think?
Grateful to review this. It is so true that Communication Failure is often at the heart of frustration petween practitionars and families. Communication Training mixed with compassion is key in every field, but even more so in the medical field. Especially when it comes to children…parents are part of the solution both in care procedures and patient safety. They must be seen as an critical member of the care team. Appreciated the Videos of practitioners sharing their experience.
